I, earlier had made an announcement about Keren and wanted everyone to know that she had a miscarriage. Please be in prayer for her and her family as I know that this is a difficult loss. She is okay physically and the doctor said that when she was to get pregnant again everything would be fine. | | |
| Formally Known as KEREN DUBOIS:
For those of you who know, or have known Keren Dubois, she is now KEREN something (I know sad, I was in her wedding and don't know what her last name now is...) But anyway an announcement needs to be made. She has been married now for a couple or few years and well......
TA-DA:
She is expecting her first child!!! Wooohooo, KEREN IS PREGNANT! So I thought I would share and let everyone know. 
(side note- for those of you who want to remember Keren Dubois, she was one of the singers for the Acquire the Fire 1999-2000)

| PREACHING!
How many of you have ever read Hamlet? In Hamlet there is the emphamis line : "To be or not to be that is the question?" and I had the great opportunity to preach our mid-week service, that is right I had the whole service in front of adults. I know I am one but this was a bit different. I have spoken before but not for longer than 15min....not this night, I got to speak for an hour and let me tell you my nerves were on end. 
Anyway, I took that Hamlet quote and made it : "To be the church or to Go to church, that is the question?" Because so many times especially this time of year we want God to reveal his purposes and plans for us but we don't passionately pursue a relationship with him. Sure we go to church, and we attend our weekly bible studies and even meet up with friends to talk about God but our relationship with God is still at the same level it has been for along time, well at least for the most part, and in most peoples lives.
So I spoke about the early church in Acts. 2:42-47 and what they did to accomplish miracles and miraculous signs and wonders. How to get where God wants us, and really they had four simple steps
1. Study the word
2. Fellowship
3. Break Bread
4. Pray
I believe that if I was in a marriage and I turned to my spouse on my wedding day and said, "yay! alright see you on Sunday and Wed. " I don't think my husband would be too happy. He would be like, say what? See that is what we do to God sometimes, we just go to church rather than being the church ourselves in studing the word, in fellowshiping with eachother to know we can count on eachother in time of need, that commrodery or synergy when we know we can accomplish a spiritual mountain together. Breaking Bread, having communion on a personal level where we not only remember God's son but all that he has done for us and praying not only for ourselves but of the church, our pastors and others and then we will be begin to see a change in the church! Whew, it was awesome and I had a lot of fun!!!
God ministered to me and I was honored at the opportunity! Just thought I would share! (: Miss you guys a heap!!! | | |

List of my Thankfulness (which could go longer but I will keep it to top 10)
1. God, which I will always have as number one in my life because without him I would not be where I am today!
2. My Parents...they are amazing!!! Absolutely amazing!
3. Family...because I just love them, I know we are all called to do something major for God together and I can't wait!
4. My Friends....oh goodness, this year has been a blast with my close girlfriends near by...I am so very thankful for our friendship and the desire to love God and people, what an encouragement! Thank you sisters!!!
5. MY NEW CAR..that I got this year but I am sooo thankful for it because that was a long time answer to prayer!
6. For my worship team!!! Alright JOY TEAM you guys know how to "rock" the house!!! Wooohoooo! You all are awesome and it is so great to see the progression in your talent and love for music! God knew how to put this team together!
7. MY JOB...I enjoy going to work everyday!
8. The friends I stay close with over xanga, e-mail, or even snail mail! YOU ALL are So GREAT!!!! I am so very thankful for technology and how it keeps up close. What a wonderful friendship we have had in the fact that we could go for a long while without communicating but when we do we pick it up right where we left off! Thank you for that
9. For the home and food and clothes I have, I know those are a tad bit materialistic, but I am thankful that I serve a God who desires for us to be prosperous and has helped in so many ways. This year I have been blessed, overly blessed if I can say that. I just caught a hold of this message I heard this last summer at a convention and it changed my financial situation like that (snap) So, God is good!
10. I am Thankful for the call that I have on my life and the desires that God has placed in my heart that will one day be fullfilled! I am thankful for the journey that I am on to accomplish those goals and that fact that I live in America to serve my God freely. I am thankful for the experiences that I have had this year to sharpen me as a woman of God and difine my character. I am just so very thankful!
